After our visit to the Duomo, we will stroll through the charming streets of the city, discovering hidden gems such as quaint boutiques, art galleries, and local eateries. Our guide will share fascinating stories and insights about Milan's rich history and culture. Our guided tour in Milan will culminate with a visit to the **Vertical Forest**, a model of a green residential building where those iconic residential towers are a pioneering model of sustainable living. This immersive experience in Milan promises to be a highlight of our journey, blending art, history, and the vibrant spirit of the city.

Day four is dedicated to an exciting culinary experience in the Emilia-Romagna region. Stanley Tucci particularly emphasized the reverence for traditional ingredients like Parmigiano Reggiano, balsamic vinegar, and prosciutto di Parma. We will start the day with a visit to a renowned parmesan factory, where you’ll learn about the traditional methods of cheese production and the artistry behind crafting this iconic cheese. After the tour, enjoy a delightful tasting session of various parmesan varieties. Following our cheese adventure, we will head to a pasta cooking class, where you’ll have the opportunity to learn the secrets of making authentic Italian pasta from scratch. Under the guidance of a skilled chef, you’ll create your own pasta dishes, which you can savor for our dinner.

The following day promises a rich and memorable journey as we travel from Bologna to Florence by high-speed train, gliding through the picturesque Italian countryside. Upon arrival in Florence — the cradle of the Renaissance — we’ll step into a city that seamlessly blends centuries of history, breathtaking art, and vibrant local culture. Our experience begins with an exciting guided walking and tasting tour through the heart of the city. As we wander the charming cobblestone streets and hidden alleyways, we’ll uncover fascinating stories behind Florence’s architecture and traditions. Along the way, we’ll pause to indulge in an array of authentic Tuscan flavors at the street kiosk Trippaio del Porcellino to taste the artisanal Lampredotto sandwich accompanied by a glass of local wine. This delicious experience offers the perfect introduction to the Florentine way of life, inviting us to slow down, savor every bite, and take in the atmosphere of one of Italy’s most iconic and beloved cities. 'Every region of Italy is Beautiful but Tuscany is a MASTERPIECE' according to Stanley Tucci.

Day six offers a unique and unforgettable experience as we venture deep into the heart of the Apuan Alps for a guided visit to the world-renowned Carrara marble quarries. These majestic landscapes, carved by centuries of craftsmanship, are where Michelangelo once hand-selected the pure white marble for his masterpieces. As we explore the dramatic, open-air quarries, you’ll learn about the fascinating history, tools, and techniques used to extract this iconic stone — from ancient times to modern-day innovations.

After our quarry exploration, we’ll head to the nearby village of Colonnata, nestled in the hills above the marble cliffs. There, we’ll enjoy a tasting of the famous Lardo di Colonnata, a delicacy that has been cured in marble basins for centuries, infused with herbs and spices for a rich, melt-in-your-mouth flavor. Surrounded by this picturesque setting, the tasting becomes a true celebration of local tradition and craftsmanship.

As the afternoon winds down, our private driver will bring us back to our accommodation. The evening is yours to enjoy at your leisure — whether you choose to relax, stroll through town, or dine at one of the local restaurants recommended by our team.
